We’re a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping foster youth transition into adulthood with support, dignity, and opportunity. From securing safe housing and furnishing their first apartment, to enrolling in school, finding mentors, and navigating complex forms—we’re here for every step.

Each year, thousands of teens age out of foster care without a support system. At The Next Chapter Initiative, we provide critical services to help foster youth transition successfully into independent adulthood.

Our nonprofit organization focuses on practical, hands-on support for young adults leaving foster care, including but not limited to:

• Housing assistance and help finding safe, stable living environments
• Mentorship for foster youth to provide emotional guidance and life skills
• Education support, including help enrolling in college or trade school
• Assistance with paperwork like FAFSA, job applications, and healthcare forms
• Furniture and move-in essentials for first apartments
